SW1 is a resin-enhanced wax ribbon that sets new standards in wax technology. It has excellent print density with superior mechanical and smudge resistance, and its new back coating formula offers unparalleled print head protection – more than 10 times the industry standard. The wide range of Toshiba ribbons available today ensures that our valued customers have different product options for virtually any thermal transfer application. Using Toshiba ribbons ensures optimum print quality causing minimum wear on working parts – in particular to the printhead.
Before a ribbon is certified by Toshiba it must first undergo stringent tests to ensure its continuity and reliability in the field. It is assessed on a variety of receiving materials, and at every speed and temperature combination. Only once this procedure is completed and deemed successful will the ribbon receive its certificate of approval.
This commitment to quality and reliability is what you would expect from Toshiba as the biggest thermal transfer ribbon distributor in Europe.
