SW1 is a resin-enhanced wax ribbon that sets new standards in wax technology. Before a ribbon is certified by Toshiba it must first undergo stringent tests to ensure its continuity and reliability in the field. It is assessed on a variety of receiving materials, and at every speed and temperature combination. Only once this procedure is completed and deemed successful will the ribbon receive its certificate of approval.
